Peer review process

Articles that run counter to the journal's editorial line may be rejected by the editorial board in the first instance, without an assessment report.

Plagiarism is detected using Compilatio software.

All articles submitted to the journal are anonymized and evaluated by two reviewers, following the double-blind review process. In the event of doubt or differences of opinion between the reviewers, additional opinions may be requested by the journal management.

Based on the reviewers' reports, the journal management makes one of the following three decisions within a reasonable time of receipt of the manuscript:

  • Acceptance of the text, as submitted to the review.
  • Refusal with reasoned opinion.
  • Acceptance subject to minor or major modifications.

In the latter case, the editorial board will make a final decision, positive or negative, depending on whether the author has taken into account the suggestions and comments made to him proposed by the reviewers. In all cases, the editorial board takes into account in its decisions legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement or plagiarism.

Texts accepted for publication undergo a final editorial process in consultation with the author (adaptation to spelling standards and text layout) before going online.
