Coordinates the journal and steers the activities of the editorial board.
Is a member of the Editorial Board, with a casting vote in case of a tied decision on scientific matters.
Represents the journal to third parties in administrative and organisational matters.
Coordinates all the journal's activities.
Makes the final decision on the publication of articles, based on the evaluation reports and corrections made by the authors.

Editor

Appointment: Depending on the assignment of dedicated staff.
Roles:
Publishes calls for papers.
Monitors articles submitted to the magazine throughout the editorial chain, and ensures that schedules are adhered to.
Applies anti-plagiarism detection to articles (as soon as they are received).
Manages author contracts.
Proofreads the spelling and typography of the magazine's content.
Ensures that reviews run smoothly (role of intermediary between authors and reviewers): forwards review reports to authors, copying management.
Prepares the copy, checking that articles comply with the journal's standards (in particular bibliographic standards).
Publishes articles online (styling).

The editorial board comprises the editor-in-chief, teacher-researchers and professionals (up to 20 people) and the journal's editor.

Appointment, term of office and renewal: Election every 5 years by the members of the previous editorial board, renewed twice consecutively.
Role:
Defines the editorial line of the journal and the evaluation grid for articles.
Determines the themes for each issue of the journal.
Designates the person(s) responsible for coordinating the issue and writing the editorial.
Validates or invalidates the suitability of the article for the editorial line.
Asks for two reviewers, in agreement with the journal's management.
Seeks funding for the operation of the journal (calls for projects, grant applications).
Promotes the journal (social networks, various communications, conference presentations, etc.).
Ensures that the journal is listed in bibliographic databases.
